Reforestation Ecuador

In December 2019, Maika and Olivier spent 2 weeks in Ecuador to work with a local non-governmental organization (NGO) called Yakum on a Amazon reforestation project. They raised funds from their birthday party  to help indigenous tribes with replanting trees and mapping plants and their lands. With generous contributions from their friends and parents in lieu of birthday gifts, we were able to donate 2 GPS units and 2 laptops to the Sakopai and the Sachawaysa tribes project teams.

Conservation, authentic outreach and sustainable development are the key considerations for our partnerships with Yakum and the project's Circle of Supporters.
